It has been awhile since I had a really good box and I was pretty happy to open this one. Over 200 in 90% silver. And most of them were WALKERS!!!!! Enjoy the photos.

Maybe that 1927 is really a 1921 I better go take a closer look and check out the no dates a little better to see if I can read them. I will let you know.

Hey last winter I was going through 40 boxes a week. I got so sick of looking at JFK it wasn't even funny. And in all thoses boxes I did not get one box as good as this one and I only get four a week now.

Great score.
You may have noticed I have been pretty quiet lately.
Still do 12 boxes a week but have not been posting since they have been pretty slim.
A good week I'll pull 30 to 40 keepers
But I have had the 1 keeper weeks too.

My best box in the last year has been a 57 keeper box a couple of months ago. and they were almost all Ben Franklins. actually had back to back weeks with a small hoard of Bens.

So don't be suprised if you scoop up the other half of that collection next week.....

I went back to work a couple of months ago after a 6 month layoff (People please buy American) and haven't been able to do much cold calling and just barely make it to the bank before closing time to pick up my orders.

I am getting sick of seeing JFK's So it's nice to see someone score a nice hoard.

Cat, on the no date ones, if you can make out any kind of mintmark on the obverse under the word Trust, it's a 1916 or 1917.

After extreme magification and imagination one of the worm coins looks like it is a 1921 you can make out the back of what looks to be a two and you can see the one in the last position but it does have an s mintmark on the back. Does not show up well enough on the scan. Sorry

If you can see the one, it's one of 2 years,1921 or 1941 as walkers weren't produced 1930-1932.Nice finds.

You can see the back edge of the 2 in front of the one. And the s is very clear on the back.

Nice find Cat,

It sure looks like it is a collection that was cashed in. You may want to look for varieties like the 1942 DDO, and 1946 DDR.

The best places to identify DDO coins is either under the breast plate, under the chin, and the IN GOD WE TRUST.

The 1946 DDR can be identified by the Pluribus unum.

Some of your luck rubbed off on me. After that post, I did call my bank. Picked them up yesterday (only one box came in though) Got 11 keepers out of one box including my FIRST WALKER! HA!
