Hit a hot spot on the creek today near a cave that was rumored to have been excavated many, many years ago (several have said bows and other artifacts were pulled from it). The area did not disappoint! Wish we could have stayed longer, but I was torn between being a good parent and taking a sick kid home or saying suck it up. She only had to suffer a little
Anyway, here's the goodies. If you know what anything is, let me know.
#1-This is the best stuff we found, Close up below.

#2-What is it? Reminds me of a turtle shell. Has been worked on both sides.

#3-Adena? My husband found it. 3 1/4" length, 1 1/4" at widest. Its thin

#4-Pinetree? Another one he found, only missing the tip of the base
2" length, 3/4" wide, 1/4" thick

#5-I found one! What could it be? Missing the base. 2" length, 1 1/2" width, about 1/4" thick

#6-Broken something. Both edges are worked, but on different sides and a different style. 2 1/2" length, 2" width, 1/2" thick

#7-Don't think this is fluted, but definitely has a smooth area with a "stop" on the bottom. 2" length, 1 1/2" width, 1/4" thick

#8-another Turkeytail?

#9-would have been pretty! The work all the way around the base is neat.

#10-A broke point, but seems to have been repurposed.

#11-scraper? I thought it was neat.

#12-large tools

#13-scrapers and small tools

As always, correct me if I'm wrong or if you know what something is, let me know! Thanks!!
