Mapped out a few tot lots this morning to stop at on my
way home from work. Very fist lot I picked up this ring!
Pretty sure it's not gold but a ring is a ring! ; )

Nice and tired now! should sleep good.. haha

Wow! Weird thing happened to the ring!
I was looking for a magnet to keep with me in my truck just
for checking potential gold jewelry that I may find in the future.
I found this nice rare earth magnet and just put it inside the ring on my dresser
and look what it did to it! I took the magnet out hours ago and it's still
like this so I think I've changed the molecular structure of it somehow! LOL
Actually, I like it better now! haha
Compare from above pic'... Put a nice Black line all around it!

That's interesting. I cleaned one once under water, and it permanently changed the color. I just googled mood rings and found that if the liquid crystals get wet, they can turn the ring black.
