well today ended it all.........I cannot lie....the silver streak has come to a sad end. I only had time for a short hunt so I went to an old ballfield that has produced several nice indians but not much silver. I knew I was risking ending my record silver streak, but after I saw how nice this indian cleaned up, I did not even care! It was a great run, 17 straight hunts with silver, it had to end sometime. This is indian #97 for the year, my goal of 100 is in sight! This georgeous 1899 helps dull the pain of not getting silver... :laughing7: :laughing7:

Love the patina on that!

Wow, that IS gorgeous. Good job!

Yeah, That is a good looking coin!

nice IH!!! MR TUFF

wow, very nice! I wish they could all look like that coming out of the ground :headbang:

Lucky you..not only do you have great old sites that produce silver and indians....you have dirt that keeps them beautiful. Digging this rock hard Carolina clay in 95 degree weather for a wheatie if you are lucky is driving me nuts. Thank god the beaches a couple of hour drive away. She's a real beauty. BTW..my first and only Indian was also an 1899. Mine was toast.

Awesome IH! Very nice looking coin... Congratulations...

What a great Indian!!! Wish they all looked like that, most of mine this year are big time toasted.

Nice Copper.
Sometimes everything comes together and you pull an old beauty like that

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet IH :headbang: I found a 1906 in that shape a week after I got my first detector. HH

Thats a beauty for sure! WTG!
