One coin night. Last target produces big silver!

I thought i was done hunting for the year last week before my wife's due date. No baby yet so i went down the road a few miles this afternoon to hit a yard i have permission at. The house is 1912 and i pulled a couple of buffalos and mercs last year, but targets were almost nonexistant when i was there last in April or so.

I hit it again for about an hour before dark tonight hoping for one more silver because it would have got me to 50 keepers (not including wheats) and an even 20 silvers for 2015. I have been through this yard at least 8 times and through the side yard multiple times per visit each of those times. I got a solid 03-46 on the etrac and pulled this as my final target of the night at only 2" (maybe less)! I can't believe I missed it before!

Congrats on that Walker I wish I could find one of those beauties. When I go back to permissions I have hunted many times, I might pull a wheat or a Merc, but never a Large silver.

Right!? I even air tested it when it came out of he ground and it was still a solid 03-46. Same with a barber half I tested about a month ago. I was surprised at how low it read, but it's consistent at least!

Yep your life will be altered forever but it will definitely be worth it!

But hopefully there will still be time for detecting.... just think in a few years you will have a detecting buddy.
