I thought i was done hunting for the year last week before my wife's due date. No baby yet so i went down the road a few miles this afternoon to hit a yard i have permission at. The house is 1912 and i pulled a couple of buffalos and mercs last year, but targets were almost nonexistant when i was there last in April or so.

I hit it again for about an hour before dark tonight hoping for one more silver because it would have got me to 50 keepers (not including wheats) and an even 20 silvers for 2015. I have been through this yard at least 8 times and through the side yard multiple times per visit each of those times. I got a solid 03-46 on the etrac and pulled this as my final target of the night at only 2" (maybe less)! I can't believe I missed it before!

Been a great week.... the coin was a good find but I'm going to brag on the other new thing to come into our lives this week. This little guy showed up after a long wait yesterday afternoon. He and my wife are doing great, and I'll hopefull make a little detecting buddy out of him here in a few years!
