Well you asked me to take care of the stuff, so I went out and got a display box just for the three days of fun you allowed me to have :laughing7: :headbang: Hope I can put you guys on some nice stuff in my area :thumbsup:

my piece measures 31mm as opposed to the standard 35mm​

Thanks again for that ID help.. just spoke with a guy about that bar and he says the back is a "T-bar" design, the type of design that was common during the Civil War for items such as corps badges, etc.

Some debate between cloth and metal , in this case GOLD metal :icon_scratch: The braided edge on your find is different than picture reference . I would guess the CSA and Union used cloth and this piece is civilian . Hard to say , could be used on a dress uniform . One of those ...may never know digs :icon_thumleft:

Great looking display. Well done. I'm not sure if you realized it but with the positioning of those rusty nails in the case you spelled out "I love relics" in Chinese. :tongue3: O.K. that may be a stretch. :laughing9:
Some great pieces in there. The gold piece has been very informative. :thumbsup:
