Some people on here have had better numbers (Silver), including myself on a hunt. But Saturday I had one of my best hunt's for me personally overall. Aside from my 3 Seated hunt this past December, this hunt is right up there due to the fact I found so many older finds, which is hard in this State.

From 5 Silver (Including most oldest Silver ever found here in Oklahoma, an 1863 British 4 Pence Silver Coin), to half dollar sized tokens(2).

A short list of the goods:

1863 British 4 Pence
1900 Barber Dime
1900 "S" Barber Dime
1911 "D" barber Dime
1918 "D" Mercury Dime
3 Indians & 8 Wheat's, crusted and pretty worthless expect a couple of the wheat's
3 Tokens (one form the Worlds Fair in St Louis), and a cool Watch Fob

Here is a few pics, GL & HH, Dirtdiga.. aka; looknforgold

Sweet hunt, congratulations! :occasion14:

Super job!

Nicely done, and all the best,

Lanny

I would say that was a day to remember. Sweet dimes, and World's fair items are always neat finds.

Killer haul of cool old coins, tokens, and watch fob. Looks like a Chinese cash coin got rescued as well. Darn tootin' on a very good day in the field.:headbang:

The 4 pence is not for general circulation its from a Maundy Set. Nice.

Excellent finds Looknforgold. I will be leaving this Friday to come and visit your great state. Going to visit our son for a week. He lives in Midwest City right outside OKC.

A fine haul... Congrats

A what? Thanks, I'll go pull it up. I know that someone else in our City pulled one up as well recently (Some kind of Pence coin), I wonder if the same person might have lost it...
Thanks all!

Excellent set of finds sir. Congrats on all of the goodies.
