Pretty darn good picture for a phone camera. Is that in Utah? Looks like a pinion or juniper forest? Those are good areas to look for artifacts, as you could almost kill deer in that kind of country with a knife and I believe the Native Americans took a lot of game in that kind of terrain from very close distances in country like that and the evidence I find is small to medium-sized arrowheads in areas like that.
Earlier phone shot out West in June. I didn't notice the surprise it hid until much later while deleting a few off my phone and noticed this pic had a little feathered streaker.

Thanks!
Here's a few other snap shots from a couple of the turn outs right around the same area.
As Ron said your going west on I70 about 30 miles west of Green River Utah, It's a pretty drive out there. The cliffs in the distance of you photos are called the Book Cliffs where Utah highway 6 runs up from I70 through Price Utah and up to Spanish Fork, South of Salt Lake City. I took this picture of the train just below those cliffs in the distance of your photos.
Thanks!

Wow! That is a great photo. You must have been down in the valley below. That is some awesome country out that way.
We don't have any issues with plenty of power to climb those mountains, or to descend those mountains. It has a 450 Cummins with a 3000 Allison trans double stage exhaust brake. A pleasure to drive. As you say some of the semis will be using their flashers and as we approach we just pass on the left with caution. No problem though.![]()
