was going to head to a couple of R.I. beaches Sun. into Mon. - was having health issues on Sun. morn
and told my GF that I didn't know if I was up to going - few hrs went by and I asked her if they had
offered her a free night down at one of the CT. casinos - she checked on line and said "yes they did"
so I told her to let me relax a little and if she want to we could head there later in the day
and stay the night for free and eat
and drink on them - (she is in a high status club and gets free drinks and food) - well asking her that is
like asking a kid if he wants some candy. I don't gamble much - Id rather find it than give it away.
Long story short - she hit for $4350 on a slot machine = she was betting $1.25 a spin and had put
about $140. in before she hit. Soooo had I not changed plans :dontknow:
She was so happy - she offered to buy me a new Equinox but I told her no :BangHead:

Hey Casper-2, Sorry to tell you this, but I was praying for Metal Detectorists around the World and all of a sudden God said to me: "Had Casper-2 gone metal detecting, instead of whining about a tummy ache, he would have found a $20,000 watch". FYI :laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

Congrats on the $$$ by-the-way.
don't know what Id do with a $20,000 watch - I don't wear a watch never have
I still have expensive Cartier from last year - just sitting in a box - Im in it for the hobby - not the Money
Detectorist friend just had appendix burst - could have killed him - he was going to possibly go hunting with his hookah
had he and it burst - he would not be with us now - Hoping he gets out soon - saying prayers for him

It was a joke Calm down.
But gamblers will never admit to a problem anyways LOL
Knew a guy awhile back sign off on his car at the casinos some how true story.
Same guy went to NJ and spent it all and was trying to sell troll dolls for money to get over the bridge to come home you really can't make this stuff up.
Reminds me of an old friend I used to know. I knew a guy and his wife once, both have since passed. They blew well over a million dollars just at the hard rock in hollywood from the time it opened until they passed away a few years ago. He died broke and in debt. She died 6 months later. Both in their upper 70's. But they enjoyed their last years together doing what they loved. Playing the slots. Godspeed Jerry and Susan Friedman. Myself, I work too hard for my money. On the rare occasion when I do gamble, it's with cards. No electronic slot machines for me.

She just went down again and her and gf of hers decided to play more per bet on one machine together than less on separate machines
they cashed out at $1400 on the plus side - so she won another $700

Some have it, some (like me) don't.

CASPER-2 you’re in my neck of the woods. I’m in MA but was just at Mohegan last week. Wasn’t so lucky. My Nox comes in tomorrow morning. Can’t wait to hit the beaches. Congratulations to your gf on the nice win!!
