I agree with Champ. After using it, I couldn't imagine not having it in my arsenal. For me, it is 11", 17", 6" in terms of usefulness.

Its more that the 17" unbalances the detector imo.

I love mine. Takes a bit to get good at pinpointing with it if you haven't used it for a while, but with practice you get as fast as with a stock coil.

I could not have even bought them used for the deal I got buying them together through Fort Bedford detectors!
