You should be able to locate the signal for gold coins when you are a mile or two from them. They are buried in leather bags

The first question I always ask is "Are there any gold, silver 0r gem stones on this map"? Found some raw gem stones in the left hand corner of the map...Art

A gold vein that comes to the surface on the left side. May be some nice specimens there.

I have gold bars marked in yellow and gold coins marked in purple and something looking like a square on top of it

I don't know about gold, but you probably have some type of ancient site, close to one edge of the map.
