I had less than an hour to hunt so I went to one of my local hunted out places. I saw someone took a brush hog to a part of the land that I had never hunted. Just as I had to get ready to leave I got a really nice signal but I was not expecting silver. This is the nicest one I ever found.

Edit: okay I got the picture to load scroll down to see it. It is an 1883 seated dime by the way!

She's a beauty.
looks to be in pretty good shape too; nice and clean.
Congrats.

love any coin whose date starts with an "18" or lower number! great find!

Looks like it was dropped on the way back from the mint!

Awesome coin, congratulations.

Very nice example at that. Good find man!

Awesome detail! Congrats!

I would have probably been laying on the ground after finding that!

great find
thanks for sharing
just a little note
when im taking pics of something shiny or not i put it on a dark background and shoot it from a slightly angled position (bottom to top) not dead on or straight ahead as this will give more glare
the angled shoot gives less glare
i learned this through trial and error
hope this helps

Very nice dig. That is in great shape too. Hard to believe it is 132 years old, isn't it?

Thats one sweet seated coin..

Very jealous. I can't even score a merc!! :laughing7: Great find! Hit that grass hard!
