That probably had some nice minecut stones in
It at some point be they rubys emeralds or diamonds

I have no complaints with just the band
Mark is a little iron cross..haven't tested it yet

I dug a grommet yesterday, lol that made me think ring when I saw it in the hole. Glad you found the real deal. Pics are dark, but it looks to be gold colored? Nice finds.
 

Nice finds! Gold is always great! I'm right there with you on the missing stones! I can't seem to get diamonds/gold together in one ring!

Old dude- yep detector screams "ring" and there's a round shinny object in the hole! Unfortunately it is not the ring we were hoping for!
