A story that's been circulating, and approaching urban legend status. Like the name. Obviously, 'TYRONE JACKSON' refers to a n..., a ni..., a nincompoop. It would be cool to see some actual verifiable documentation for this story. Truth be known, it was probably Jose Garcia, or John Smith, or Sitting Bull.

According to Snopes, the perp was one Tracey Attaway. He did manage to stab one Marine, an was subdued by several others. No "official" account of bodily harm to Mr Attaway exists in any reports.

"THE" story (with a mugshot): http://chronicle.augusta.com/news/crime-courts/2010-11-26/shoplifting-suspect-stabs-marine

Attaway was denied bond 14 days later...... (Aren't bond hearings supposed to take place in 72 hours or so ? Wonder why his was delayed....)
