Opening up some photos

My phone really struggles when trying to open up certain posts with the green icon that represents a photo. Is it possible to limit the size of some of the photos to make them load up a little bit quicker?

theres an app you can install called tapatalk. put that on your phone (google play store for android, itunes for apple) and go into the settings and turn on image compression, then look at the same threads in tapatalk app. it will shrink the image and reduce the images quality but you will still get to see the pics posted.
