opinions on hunting foreclosed homes

I would love to get some feedback on hunting foreclosed homes. Has anyone done this without permission since they're basically corporate owned at this point?

First it is illegal, and second it just reinforces the opinions of those that we are vultures, with no ethics, taking advantage of others misfortune.

Sign or no Sign HUD is Federal Property, private or public it is still Federal property... The Fed law I quoted clearly states no metal detecting.
