Do a hardness test and a streak test on the two different colors of rock.
Take new pictures of the rock, dry and outside in natural light. Color and luster are used to help identify. When you take a picture of a wet rock you mask it’s true luster. Artificial light often adds a yellow hue to the natural color.
The scalloped cleavage suggests, obsidian, chalcedony, or opal.
