ordering ikes...

Hi all, the thought came across my mind just now as I was reading a similar older post from 2007. Those must have been the days. Is there a way for me to order ike dollars from my bank? they order me half dollars no problem, as many as I want- as long as I buy them all and do not return them.

Do banks still have the ability to order ikes? Has anyone ever had success with eisenhower dollars?(or peace and morgan dollars in the mix as well)

Just curious, also, id someone on here does get ikes, how do they come into the bank? How much money is it? ex: $25 pennies, $100 nickels, $250(sometimes$500 dimes) and $500 quarters & halves

I recall one recent thread where a bank offered to order $1000 bags of Ikes, but I think they all ended up being one specific date.

Some casinos use them in dollar slots, which is probably the reason why that particular coin service offered them.

I always ask about "old, large-size dollar coins", waving my prop Ike. Up until the last week or so, I hadn't found any other than the one I found at a coinstar. But suddenly I've found several at four different banks that I hit regularly, so somebody must be spending them all over town.
