Picked this up for $5. Its about 12" tall. Doesnt have a "made in china" mark which lead me to believe its old. Is anyone familiar with older oriental pottery? Thanks!

Familie Noir Qianlong reign mark. I don't think it's a period piece. Here's a good site on the subject of Chinese pottery.
