Our first Shield Nickel! Yay!

Hit the park up early this morning and Bob found our first Shield Nickel! 1878! Our oldest coin as well. I found a 1754 Dubloon but from a restaurant! Lol! . After reading up on the nickel it is more likely 1873. Yay! Older!

I still like the token. Being from Canada, I?d never had Long John Silvers but grew up with Detroit stations so knew of it. My wife grew up at the border and swore it was her favourite restaurant growing up so I?ve been there once while while driving to Florida. Once was more than enough to convince that things change!
