Our regal beagle "Sadie"

This is our new puppy "Sadie". She is part Beagle and part coon hound

.....What a combination, huh?

. She is hilarious!

Cute pup! I have a Golden Retriever named Sadie. My son calls her a Golden RETREATER because she hides when a gun goes off.

Thanks packerbacker! That's funny your son calling your dog a Golden "Retreater". Some dogs just don't like the sound of gunfire. Our border collie will leave the country if he hears a gunshot!

She's getting better, but needs lots of exercise to calm her down! We've been taking her on looonnnngggg walks

Isn't it funny how fast they can get spoiled, swampgal?! Sadie loves my husband and can't wait for him to get in from work everyday just so he can pick her up and hold her. She pretty much "rules the roost" right now

Thanks River Rat--We are dog lovers--this makes the third dog around here, but we just had to give Sadie a home. We're animal poor with 3 dogs, 4 horses, a miniature donkey and about 50 head of wild deer that we feed. Good thing my husband has a job that can support our animal habits!

Thanks Fossis--yes, I think this breed of dog is very hyper and just needs to be doing something all the time. My daughter is going to take Sadie rabbit hunting during the winter months.

Swampgal--Sadie has been a little hard-headed but she is learning "NO" really good. And can even "SIT" and "COME HERE!"

. We've been watching the "Dog Whisperer" and trying to apply some of his logic

What sweet girls, I love sadie's ears flopping around! I've always kinda wanted a beagle, they seem to be happy dogs.

Sadie is the happiest dog and already spoiled rotten!! I've heard this breed of dogs is really good with kids and both the my girls just love her. She fell in the creek yesterday and we found out she doesn't like the water very well
