I'm glad I live on top of a Mountain.

You should see my basement.
I got waterfalls coming through the foundation.

Good for another 3Ft. before it hits the Power Box.

Tried to get pics but light is poor for my camera

Rain and wind woke me up about 2:00am, I looked outside and couldn't see out my window! Nice drive to work though, trees down, power out washed out roads. Could be worse I guess, its not snow.

WOW! Good luck Jeff;

Will the foundation hold up or is there major damage?

Let us know how this one turns out.

Dave

Hopefully The Foundation Holds.

At this point that's all I can do.

Rain is Supposed to stop

in about 4 Hours.

My sister just told me of the winds last night,
I never heard them here.

Several towns at the bottom of the mountain around me have shut down roads.
alot of Pump details going on & at least one area being Evacuated.

Temps are to drop to 30 tonight.
that usually Translates to 25 up here.
anyone for Ice Skating ?

Definately Improving.

Can see the Yellow Lines now
ant the Flow is getting Closer to the Ditch

Round 2 Comes this Weekend

Hopefully nothing of value to you was damaged in the basement.

I'm Used to it.

Have Nothing sitting below the 5 Foot level of the Breaker Box.

Whew! Sure glad you made it through round 1.....be careful and keep us updated for round 2!!

thanks all !

So far only Semi Major damage is Bathroom Carpet
I got a full Septic Tank.
Over flowed when I flushed
got to follow the Bears Advice I guess.

Hang in there Jeff, hope all turns out okay.
We got a five inch snow, first of the year, nearly all melted the same day, the kind of snow I like. :P

Fossis..............

Jeff,I wish you all the best. Be careful a lot of ppl don't realize what 3" of moving water will do. Sun is shining like crazy here. ;D

Jeff I also sometimes get trouble with flooding as I live about 15 meters from a river.
So I know what problems can occur especially when it rains for three days non stop...It gets wet...

That pump for my highbanker sure comes in handy. ;D (10 000 liters/hour)

Looks like you guys got the full load of that system. I watched the radar as it slid by here, just missed us. The rivers are high though, so if we get more rain, we're in for floods like we had in '04 amd '05.

Sun came out this afternoon Dried the Roads up some.

Water table is still up. & Very Breezy

Hopefully tomorrow helps before round two

Glad to hear that it is drying up a bit...hopefully it will dry a LOT before the weekend then be milder than expected then. Thanks for keeping us updated!

Pics of my Driveway.

My Neighbor is already Hauling Rock & Dirt.

Ruts are well over a foot deep in spots.
