Went to my local gas station for gas & lottery tickets. Always ask if any odd looking coins( never asking for Silver per say), or any half dollars. Cashier I know indirectly, says he has some in my drawer. I'll take whatever you have. Gives me $4 worth, I quickly notice a white rim, but did not want to raise suspicion, got in my car, got a 1964 just like that. Just never know.

Ask at grocerry stores. The casheirs will ask their supervisor. the supervisor will unlock the safe, and get you alot of ikes, and halves that have been collect'n dust.

The little grocery store up the street from me is always lousy with em. I pay for lunch with halves about 4 days a week there just to get rid of em. Lol... Had a guy in behind me one day offer to buy the pile of them that I just paid with as I was walking away...
