Hey everyone,

Still hunting like usual. Not alot this yr I have slowed down alot because of work family and the kids. But any window to get out and hunt I did.

Beside the finds there great and fun to find. My Dad, got really hurt last week at work. He is a painter and fell like 20 25 ft. Broke both his legs really bad. Multiple compound fractures etc. He already had a shattered ankle in the past now he just reshattered it again.

It was really hard seeing him all messed up like that. Were buddies and you hate to see people you care about hurt. Anyways prayers would really help right now. He could lose a foot. He is a tough guy and I hope he can come back at 54.

As far as areas go I was hunting a grove alot and a old park is were most of the finds came from. Yesterday was the big day relic wise. I hit a nice area loaded with signals and found all the stuff you see on my sink in less than 2.5 hrs. I'll be back there again this weekend.

Nothing to rare but did get a really nice 1913 barber dime. Also a worn 1911 S dime also. Got one 1906 indian and a bunch of other items. Got a 1915 good luck token. 1947 washington that was powder white.

Got a cool little old swimmers awards pin or cuff not sure has weird backing. Got 2 keys also. They both had tag/tokens connected to them when found with a S hook. I took them off to clean and one was bent really bad. Fixed them up. But the one Says Butlers PD. Does that mean police department. These are strange keys. The other says Laundry with a W. Maybe the guys name. One was a surface find the other was 2 ft away.

Once again Thanks for looking and listening. Hope everyone is out there finding something great.

Man, that Barber looks like it was dropped yesterday, great finds!!

Wish your Dad a speedy recovery from all of us here at Treasurenet.

Dang you even found the kitchen sink.

Keep safe...

So sorry to hear about your Dad, Jeremy. :-\ I'll say a prayer for him. Hope he recovers quickly! :)

As always, your finds are stunning! And you know how fond I am of the Barbers, BUT that one is really something else! WoW! Beautiful!! Awesome finds, Jer! 8)

Nana

Jeremy,
Sorry to hear of your dad. My prayers are with him. Nate was painting this summer and I was concerned about him as they were making him go to the highest places. One of his crew took a fall and got hurt. Another incident - A/C unit came crashing down not 10 feet from Nate. It's got it's hazards that's for sure.

As for your finds - even though they are not extremely plentiful they are very good. Nate and I are still looking for our first barber dime. I have a couple properties I have wanted to ask permission but the ground is so dry right now the plugs will croak instantly.... :P ::)

Nate has been smokin me with that DFX of his....he needs to be taught a lesson or two. :D ;D

Hope your dad recovers quick. Those keys you found are for handcuffs, but I'd guess they had some age on them. Impressive display of finds, keep it up.

That dime looks MINT! Nice digs. Hope your father has a full and fast recovery.

Thanks alot everyone.

This wasn't his first painting accident in his life. My Dad, is what you would call a little clumsy. I've seen him trip on air before. He is doing better though and he is mentally getting stronger. I appreciate all the prayers and thoughts.

Keep up the searches everyone. Those barbers are still out there Nana. Bob, I can't beleive you and Nate haven't found any barber dimes yet. Those are my biggest oldest silver collection. Can't seem to build any silver older than the 1890's.

Silver was rare in those times. Seateds are hard to come by. Haven't got one of those yet this yr. Hand cuff keys that's pretty cool. I'd say they are from the 20's or 30's. Alot of the finds from this area date to that time frame.

Once again thanks to everyone who replied. Good luck out there to all.
