Beautiful! That's a wren in the third picture, isn't it? And. the spider has already started decorating for Christmas!

Yes it is,noisy for such a little thing,every grass top along the river was covered in webs.
 

Three years ago some blue jays made their first appearance here in our area. This past couple of weeks they have been coming around my feeders, and this morning there were four of them. I have heard that they can be a little mean to other birds, but this morning there were ringed doves, magpies, and the jays and there was everyone peacefully taking their turns.

Get some raw peanuts(pet store)throw a handful and watch them come in from nowhere.They think you can't see them watching from up there.:laughing7:
