Detector(s) used
Whites Classic Whites Classic II
Garrett AT Pro
Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
Well, there was no detecting for me this year. March 30th, I fell through the roof of my hunting camp while beginning to tear it down. For obvious reasons. Injuring my left wrist, shoulder, hip, my back and right hand. It's truly been a long road.Xrays,Mri's,scope, injections, physical therapy and surgeries. It could of been worse and I'm on the mend. A recent trip in the tub cost me months more. Another surgery to my healing from surgery wrist. I've been catching up lately here on all the great finds, stories and history. Can't wait to swing that detector once again. Even though, It may be me setting it off. Ha ha ! Keep the finds and tales of treasures coming. Take an extra swing for me. It's going to be a long winter. :coffee2:

That looks like no fun at all. Heal up quick.

Ouchy is right! Dear God that is one busted up hand if I've ever seen one! I pray you have good insurance or a mega millions jackpot ticket heh, you'll need it!.
I sincerely hope it all sets up well, and they don't have to rebreak anything..almost knocked my doc out once for that lol.

Heal up and get in that winter research and hopefully next year you can get back to finding some shinies.
I'd like your post, but I don't like pain heh.

Mike

Mend well!
Your next great discovery is next.
You deserve it.
GL
Peace ✌

Thank you for the kind words. I'm starting some research into some local places that I thought I knew well. : ):coffee2:

Get all the equipment ready for spring when you are able to get out. Do a little coin roll hunting, etc.
And for Pete's sake be a little more careful, we'd like you around for a while! Get well soon! GL & HH when your better!

You need a safer hobby. I suggest no more roofs for you.

I have a similar story to share. My doctor said no jogging, get a elliptical machine. Short story I tripped and fell back into it pinching a nerve in my shoulder.

You are not alone get well soon and avoid elipticals too.

Dang, ibjeepn, those look like my xrays! I feel for you man, and I can definitely relate. In 2007 I had a motorcycle wreck, and broke 13 bones - all on the left side of my body. I was lucky that I am a righty, but its amazing how much you rely on the opposite side. Balance. Hang in there, brother. You'll be swinging again, soon! Meanwhile, research and coin roll hunting might be just the ticket!

yeah that sucks man!The worst thing about injuries, not being able to do the things you like, and they feel like they are never gonna get better sometimes, but they do.Good luck and a speedy recovery!

That's no good. Sorry to hear about your misfourtue. Heal quickly and stay off or any roofs.

That's a double OOCH! Sorry man. Heal up and do as your doc and PTs tell you.

If you go ack to roofing, you might consider a safety harness. Stay safe.

Heal up soon and get back to swinging soon.
