OZ+RR rare... One of the greatest guitarist to have ever lived.

Not taking anything away from RR, but I'm kinda partial to SRV myself! It's a Blues thing I guess!

SRV is another great.
BUT that is not "his song"...
The man who he is imitating...
IS the BEST of the BEST...
JAmes Marshal Hendrix.

There is no greater.

Yes ARRC, I know that is Jimi's song! But how confident in your skills/talent must you be, to cover Jimi and do it in a convincing manner!!! SRV could roll like that!

I saw stevie...
I am looking for a VERY rare set he did in I think Atlanta in his very early days...
Tis incredible...
one of the best "licks" I have ever heard... an def a best show...
It was in like a resteraunt bar... like place...
people were sitting at tables... areyou fam with this ?

Love your taste in guitar shredders!!! Jimmy is right up there in that small group of top 3 in IMHO!! Saw ZEPPELIN in 1977!!!!!! the Firm in 1985 and Page and Plant "No Quarter" tour in 1996. Needless to say I love me some Jimmy Page!!!!!!!!!!

No ARRC, not by venu. I do know there is a lot of stuff by SRV on youtube. Some of it is even listed as bootleg/early stuff of his. There is some good stuff to be found there. And Props to David Bowie for helping launch SRV's Career, Stevie's first credit is on David Bowie's Lets Dance song!!

Here is Ozzy listening to a lost recording of Randy Rhoads.

Move over Rover.....and let Jimi take ova!!

Things are changing boys - I'm a huge Jimmy Page fan, though I look around youtube today and there are 8 year olds playing the heck out of the guitar. It's just crazy how good they are, and just imagine when they get a few more years under their belt........

Peace to RR - He was a great one!

I must chime in here. I will never take anything away from the likes Randy Rhodes, Jimi Hendrix, Eddie Van Halen or Jimmy Page. Every one of these guitarists blazed trails for today's guitarists. I agree with TheRingFinder, though. If you've never seen the likes of Herman LI, Sam Totman or John Petrucci I strongly recommend looking them up. The first two guys play for a band called Dragonforce and John plays for Dreamtheater. Also, I wanna give a shout out to a 15 year old girl from france named, Tina S. Simply amazing! All that being said, RR is still and always will be my favorite guitarist that ever lived. R.I.P.

Ya, Randy kicks it.

I enjoy watchin Angus stomp his socks loose on occasion jumpin around.
Seems to keep his nose clean for being a rocker, swilling a chocolate milk instead ,but he sure rocks!

Im not sure how to post a you tube link with my tablet. So, do me a favor and search you tube for *Louisville Leopard Percussionists*. Its a bunch of grade school kids covering Zeppelin and Crazy Train. Its pretty good, wish my music classes would have been that much fun!!! Im curious to know what you think.
