lol thanks. from a distance i couldnt tell if they were rocks or birds? :laughing9:

Oh yes, the Mangroves. Without them, there would be a huge break in the chain. I used to hike the Everglades and fish heavily in those Mangrove swamps.

Great pics. I think I would be nervous of gators...lol

Nice pictures......and it looks SO MUCH WARMER THAN HERE IN S. KOREA.
Do you metal detect in the mangroves? I lived in Dade County a number of years ago....
wasn't detecting at that time.....
Good hunting in 2011.

I enjoyed your pics. That would be a very interesting place to go exploring. I have done a lot of canoeing and love to
explore the rivers in wooded, unpopulated areas. Never had the opportunity to do an area like yours. There would be
so many of Nature's scenes to view. Thanks for posting these. Post some more if you have them. I would enjoy
seeing whatever is there to see. Just be careful of the gators and snakes that might be in the area. I have a question,
(not trying to be a smart-alec, because I have no experience whatever with them) will a gator go after someone if
they see you in a canoe? Or do they just stay put? You've got me wondering. You would not actually be in the
water, Don't know if that would make a difference.

thanks and as for gators, just don't go near (within 10-15ft) themand they shouldn't be a problem. if they live in a active waterway or on a canoe trail, then they are used to seeing humans so they usually just stay where they are if they see you. don't bother them and they wont bother you :)
