Went to one of the oldest city parks with McCDig on Sunday to hunt an area he has pulled silver from. I was hunting an open area that was loaded with bottle caps and can slaw. Got a signal that was a jumpy 67-70, eight inches deep on the AT Max. I pull a 1890 IHP from dark soil.
I moved over to an area above where McCDig was working. The signal was more like a nickle with an iron tone to it. 8" deep i pulled a piece of iron from the plug, I rechecked the hole and found what looked like the ring of a beaver tail. When I pulled it from the hole I realized it was coin. It was an 1890 Seated Liberty dime.
A big thanks to McCDig for taking me to his spot.

Thanks Silvermonkey. Always love finding the old silver.

Sweet! Very nice finds.

Sweet Seated Dime and the IHP looks to be in nice condition also. Congrats!

Thanks, Kona Koma & pa-dirt_nc-sand. They are a welcome site from a very heavily hunted park.

Great job on those beauties that park is a honey hole Well done. Tommy

Thank you Tommy. McCDig turned me onto the spot. He has pulled 4 silvers out of the area. I just glad he gave me a chance to pull one out.
