Wow the snow went fast looks like we might have a dry summer excellent photos there.
 

Only God knows how many times I passed by that old dugout cabin in the 40 plus years I've drove by it. No telling who and how long ago they constructed it. Some sheep herder, placer miner or trapper, be my guess. I noticed, wondered and admired it for the first time beginning around the first part of 1977. I wonder if there's a way to get an idea through some kind of technique on establishing a roundabout age of it?? I remember spinning out near that cabinet one night after last call in Leadville driving my buddies 1965 Dodge Coronet, because he was way to drunk to drive and I was still coherent enough to keep it between the lines I guess. It was a pale blue one just like this one. Living pretty ignorant at times back then.
