Hunted in an old park today and couldn't believe the amount of $2 coins I found 7 in total and three $1 coins as well, but the cream on the cake was finding a 1905 sixpence, soon followed by a 1935 penny. We changed currency way back in 1966 and the pennies and threepences, sixpences, shillings and florins were replaced with one cent and two cent coins, a five cent piece, ten cents, twenty cents and fifty cents, then as time went on we got rid of the one and two cents and introduced a one dollar and two dollar coin, I can't wait till they bring in a five dollar coin!

Digging that old sixpence up really got me going, it's such a rush! I cleaned it with vinegar and salt, then used a brass polish on it, worked a treat!

I also found the blue thingy as you can see in the pics, I don't know what the hell it is, maybe part of a drug pipe? It's aluminium with a brass end on it??? Somebody...anybody got a clue?

Congrats on your oldest coin! No idea on the aluminum piece, HH, Mike

It's great to find an old park that hasn't had a ton of fill dirt dumped on it. Nice coins! Looks to be an antique crack pipe? ;D :o

Congrats on your finds!! seems like the ace is starting to pay for itself!

Nice haul,,, and Congrats on the oldie!
Continued Good luck, & Happy hunting~

Congrats on your old coin. You have a very nice haul. As for the blue pipe, I have no idea. I think it might be shorter for drugs, but I'm not sure.

If the end without the brass knob is threaded on the inside it might be from a light fixture. The part that holds the glass on.

Tire gauge was my thought also.

kinda long unless its a BIG bong! lok on its insides for resin, thats the way to tell! ;)

That is one good thing the Aussies have over us in the U.S. - their clad includes $1 and $2 coins. That can add up quick! I remember taking the change out of my wallet and find $30 worth of coins!

Yup, that's a bong stem! Probably a newer one. The old ones, were aluminium, plain. At least the ones I had saw. In the 70's-80's. ;)

ROFL ;D

Good job Ozzy. :-*
