Reed, i had read somewhere this Res. project have been on the books for a very long time,
did ya go to this meeeting? i am sure thier was a lot of opposition

Yes I went and another miner was there as well. There was a lot of opposition and NID's smoke screener was in full form. Answering a lot of questions with "I don't know" and blowing smoke on many of the others. And on a couple comments he stated that the answer was not open to the public yet. So there was a lot of opposition but he was just there to tell us how great it is that we were allowed to be in his presence and that they were moving forward. Basically it's a follow the money dam... Here's a PDF of the areas to be filled. Oh yea, it's been renamed the Centenial Dam Project. I hate this... it's a beautiful area and great for small kids. I know we need more dams but seriously there is already 2 right there! Besides isn't this going to but some private property underwater?

What are they going to remove? Gravel, gold, or both?
