Password reset issues

I was sent a new password via email and now would like to put my personal one to my account.
Have tried numerous times, but to no avail.
Can I get a walkthrough from someone on the correct procedure please?

Are you able to log in? If not, use the password they sent you to log in. Then look in the upper right hand corner of the screen and click on settings. Then on the next screen, lower left "My Account" section, you will see a Password section. Click on it, enter your current password and then the new one. Confirm the new one and that should do it.
