Walked back over and re-hunted the cow pasture Wed. afternoon. Gridded some more and managed a Buff nickel in the tree line. First one with a date in a long while ('36). Also found a nice quart milk bottle in the woods: Hitchcox Dairy, Union City, MI. 
Ran into the landowners watering their cows as I was leaving. Chatted with them a bit and they told me to "have fun!"

Dug a mechanical pencil, horse tack pieces, rifle casing.
