Pasture re-hunt - 4/3

Walked back over and re-hunted the cow pasture Wed. afternoon. Gridded some more and managed a Buff nickel in the tree line. First one with a date in a long while ('36). Also found a nice quart milk bottle in the woods: Hitchcox Dairy, Union City, MI.

Ran into the landowners watering their cows as I was leaving. Chatted with them a bit and they told me to "have fun!"

Dug a mechanical pencil, horse tack pieces, rifle casing.

I like the milk bottle! Also what is the long item at the top of the finds picture, a writing utensil-old pen and ink? Might not be the most productive place to hunt in terms of treasure but the real treasure lies within its peaceful tranquility and such a great day to hunt, 58* in Kzoo.

The long item is an aluminum mechanical pencil/drafting tool.
