✅ SOLVED Paw?

Found this at a mansion built in 1855. Digging through the ice and snow was a chore and I am not sure at what point that I got it out of the hole. I kept scanning digging until I locked on. It is not magnetic, and I have included a picture of a Quarter for size reference. This came from Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. That is about as much info as I have for you all to try to identify it. I know it isn't anything special, but seeing it looks like a paw it has my curiosity. Here you go Master Sleuths
