My buddie got me on to the best mound I have ever been able to dig. The quality is great and the there are many artifacts to be found. He showed me the CLOVIS and the perfect drill he had found out there last week and I was convinced. We put in a couple of hours diggin yesterday. I got these two, he got two even nicer than these. Lookin forward to more time in the new camp. Thank You Buddie. Happy Hunting !

I relly like the points that I see from Texas The perdenales are very nice. I was on another site and seen a huge clovis frome Texas I guess every thing is bigger in Texas

Around here mounds are burial sites. Not cool. That's like someone going and digging up my father out of his grave, and taking the things that we left for him. Are you talking burial mounds. In my area, most mounds were burial sites with evidence of them being cremated.

No Swims with Beaver... No Bones about it... We aint diggin up burial mounds. Although there
are grave sites and mass burials in our area. That is not where we are digging. We are digging
cooking mounds, middenpiles, Camp sites and game cleaning areas. When ever I find human
bones in a camp I carefully cover them and the site back up and go elsewhere. I would advise
anyone else who finds Native American remains to do the same. A guardian to your land or
country means... YOU DON'T DIG BURIALS FOR TRINKETS EVER. Sorry for the confusion on

Sorry man. My father's death was in June, it's still pretty fresh. You understand what I thought about digging up mounds. There are people that will do that sort of thing and I think it's distasteful for even professionals to do it. Middens and such, have a great time and hope you continue to find amazing artifacts. Hey S/W/Beaver, Sorry to hear about your Father. I do understand your concern. I have seen
evidence of grave digging at sites I have been too here in Texas, so I also know it happens. I am
in complete agreement. I don't think just because someone has a college backing them or they
have a fancy degree and a team of excavators, with permission, that one should ever think it is
okay to dig in burials. You can't get the right permission to do that on earth. nuf sed

Flintmel, I believe that's Georgetown Chert. The stuff growing on the edge of the one side is
patina. It takes thousands of years to grow, so when found on artifacts, don't wash it off, or your
washing away proof of age and value. Kris
