✅ SOLVED Pen knife or razor?

I found this at a house built in 1820. It has a rusted iron/steel part, some other non-metallic metal parts, and the whitish outside material looks like bone. It doesn't look or feel like wood. And the narrow rusted iron "blade" is pivots about it's middle, not its end, as it would for a pocket knife. Any ideas?

Probably bone or bakelite handle. In case you didn't know already, bakelite is a early plastic invented in 1907. Take a needle , get it red hot and touch a spot of the handle. If the spot melts like plastic it is not bone or wood. Would probably be bakelite.. HH
