Pennies Pay Off Two Weekends in a Row - '72 DDO Die #1!

Well, kinda sorta...

Last weekend I found a 99 Wide AM valued at around $300 plus a BU 1998 Wide AM. This weekend I found two solid boxes of 2009 Type 3 and 4s mixed and 1 solid box of 2009 Type 4s (the box with the holes in the top).

I sold the 2 boxes of mixed 3 and 4s for 2x face value and listed the solid box of type 4s on Ebay.

I made $50 profit on the mixed ones and I'm estimating I'll get $125 profit on the solid box. I bought a nice AU 1972 DDO die # 1 with the profit (pic attached). Sweet!!!

There is treasure everywhere!

Good for you on making a little profit, and picking up the 72 big one... Still hoping to find one of those in the wild.. Last guy I remember picking up the 72ddo was Patrick Earl Houston ,,, found his in the wild.. Again congratulations to you for a really nice week with the cents..Gpurs.

Thanks guys. Quik' Yes, many of the errors and die varieties are hard to tell. The 72 DDO Die #1 is very distinct. Almost as much doubling as the very famous '55 DDO. Of course the coloring is off on this one but to have a nice example in my set is very cool.

I also hope to find one in the wild. I found the 99 Wide AM and it's much more rare so anything is possible I guess. ...if I don't go blind first from searching these things.
