Penny rolls

Hi! I am in need of guidance because we were inherited boxes of penny rolls and a lot are named by year. Other boxes are in Ziploc bags. What is the purpose of so many rolled up by the year? And what do I do with them? Any guidance would help. I don't know where to start but I am not trying to be a collector myself.

What years are there?
Pre 1982 are all copper.
After 82, all copper plated zinc.
All copper average 1.5C each.
zinc are worth a penny.
1982 had both plated and copper,
The way to tell the difference is by weight.
Copper, about 3 grams, zinc about 2.5 grams.

What are the years and there are zome key dates you can look for and error coins sounds like it would be fun to do

All of them are pre 82. Where do I sell these? How do I get rid of them?

I have penny that go back to 1910! Where do I take them? I'm interested in the money. Not trying to collect and do an Ebay store.
