✅ SOLVED Pewter or tombac?

Are these buttons made of pewter or tombac? They both have a dull grey appearance so I'm leaning toward pewter but I'm not sure.

Also I would like to know the approximate age. The whole one is 11/16" in diameter and the broken one is 13/16. Thanks

Tombac and I'd say anywhere from
1720-1780 could be earlier but that's what I'm guessing for yours
