Only had 2 hours to hunt this morning and went to a wooded park where I have found Indians and silver in the past . Besides clad I only ended up with one Wheaties 1944,and A no date buffalo nickel . Decided to clear a beer can signal and this pewter/ lead decoration popped out instead . A wood nymph is all that comes to mind . The metal is quite soft and bends quite easily so very high in lead content, maybe not pewter ???? She has a skirt made of leaves no less . Quite fetching too ! ;D pretty heavy at 168.5 gems . No Hallmarks of any kind that I can find ?? Thanks for looking . M.R.

judging by the hole pattern it may have been mounted to some kind of furniture, maybe a dresser or a headboard,I would make a plaque out of it if i was you for display ...great find

But why so many attachment holes, and there's decoration (tho not as detailed) on the back, so it's two-sided?? :icon_scratch:

Maybe part of a set of wind chimes? The pipes would hang from the holes. Just a guess. :dontknow:

Not sure what it goes to, but I like it, I'd mount it on something and show it off. HH
