Photo or Drawning

I just got this photo today, have you ever hear of "Helen A. Ward " and if so tell where i can find out about the artist ? This picture is so nice i can't keep my eyes off it. It look like a picture but i think it's pencil drawings . all so the frame is from around 1920's i think, so nice . any help will do. Is this art deco photo ?

That is cool if its a drawing you should see stroke marks on it of some kind

I think it's a photo. I imported it into Photoshop and looked at the grain pastern magnified. Definitely not pencil or pastel.
The grain is too tight to seem to be made by hand. I might also rule out a lithograph as they will have a grain from the stone.
Reminds me of the tight grain that could be achieved wit D76 developer. Defined grain but consistent.
Maybe you could import to a photo editing software and take a look.
