For archival purposes, what do you all use or recommend for capturing detailed and high resolution images of button backmarks?
I tried macro settings on different high quality cameras, and wasn't able to get a satisfactory result... So I'm leaning towards trying one of the USB type microscope/magnifiers...?
Let's set a $100 or less threshold, as I am only planning to use it for personal cataloging purposes... Not for online auction listings, museum displays, etc.
Thanks!
