Picked up some medalians called...

L R Sterling. They are about the size of a nickle, but I only paid about $.50 each for them. Is this sterling or is it something else?

Looks to be a sterling silver mark, but would need pics of the entire item, front and back please. I at first thought it might be a piece by Louis Rault, but the mark is wrong.
