Picked up these 4 cannon balls for $10 - Opinions? Value?

I picked these up at an Estate for $10 and +$5 for storage... did I make out okay? :dontknow:

One is about 4" - Two are about 2 1/2" - One is about 2"

No real sure they are cannon balls? If they are you made out like a bandit ! If you post them in the What is it section on here you will get some experts on it and a positive I.D.

I never seen a cannon ball with a seam like that not sure if they are cannon balls.

I have a 2" like yours, and it has the seam too. I paid 2 bucks for mine, then dug one up about a block from the Concho River.

The mold seams would make them suspect, I agree with the others. Artillery projectiles had to be manufactured to near precision. A 6 pounder projectile would need to measure at 3.67 inches in diameter.... a 12 pounder at 4.62 inches.
