Picked up this oil painting today, cannot find any info online ~ Help Please

Appears to be a nicely framed still art oil painting, back side of canvas is a tan, not dark at all and staples were used to frame it, no nails.

Signed with FRANKLIN. (all caps with a period at the end)

I searched through Google, even uploaded a image to Google Image Search, nothing found.

Hopefully somebody here can ID this artist or give me an approximate value on this.
