Did most of my typical Tuesday run on 09-04-2007, skipped one bank since I had been there Friday late and they had nothing.
picked up 1 - $200 bag of nickels and 1 - $50 bag of pennies from one branch and 1 - $100 bag of nickels and 2 - $50 bags of pennies from another.
Did all the nickels over the past two nights
The $100 bag was about average quantity, but not much else.
25 pre-1960 Jefferson (1940-S, 1941(5), 1946(2), 1948, 1951, 1952-D, 1953-D(2), 1953-S(2), 1954, 1954-D, 1954-S, 1957-D(5), 1958-D, 1959)
3 Canadian (1968, 1984, 1999)
3 Foreign
Cayman Islands, 10 Cents (2005)
Thailand, 1 Baht (1996, ?)
1 dime
The $200 bag of nickels was one of my better bags, especially for variety.
2 Buffalo nickels (1 completely unreadable and 1 almost readable with a mintmark (top of D or S showing))
1 - 1943-P War Nickel <--been dipped in silver cleaner, extremely worn, extremely shiny.
1 - 1943-S War Nickel
1 - 1950 <---turned over slowly hoping for a D, but alas there was none to be found.
1 - 1955
50 other pre-1960 Jefferson (1939(2), 1940(2), 1940-D(2), 1940-S, 1941(3), 1941-S Small S(3), 1946(3), 1947-D(2), 1948(2), 1948-D, 1949-D(2), 1952(2), 1953-D, 1954, 1954-D(2), 1954-S, 1955-D, 1956-D, 1957(2), 1957-D(6), 1958-D(5), 1959-D(5))
6 Canadian (1930, 1976, 1982, 1987, 1989, 1993)
1 Namco arcade token
The 1930 Canadian nickel is also my oldest Canadian nickel found CRHing, besting the 1940 I found last year. Only 3.7 million minted as well.
Now I just need to catch up on pennies.
