OH YES, go ahead you guys. Lead me to a swampy, poison ivy infested area to detect. "Yep, this place will really have silver. It was a Boy Scout camp many snows ago.".....so sez everybody. What did I find? A penny! A lousy penny!! And ya know what else I found? Poisonous Ivory! (as my kids used to say.) Yeah, got it on my arm, hand, forehead, and on the top of my head. Of course, I detected in the briars, weeds, thickets, and woods while all of you guys detected on the mowed lawns around there. All I gotta say? Wait'll next time!! (And the food and drink were excellent...Thanks!!)

sorry goose-o hope were still friends lol.were hoping you will come out for one of are outing again it was really nice to meet you. murph

Well guys got my new detector, went out with the two guys we met at the boy scout camp, they found four more silver and four wheaties right where we were hunting, the coins they found were mixed with nails, the cool thing is I just bought I minelab a step up from what they are using I just have to get used to it, and hopefully I can find a few of my own, there are coins out there just have to hunt with a fine tooth comb.

congrats on the new minelab joe,i see much gold and silver in your future

Thanks Rich found my first wheatie at my mom and dads about 9" down I was happy now just need to learn the machine better and get my first silver.

That's what it's all about, very cool....excellent way to spend the day...Thank's for sharing.

Great job Joe, at least your in the right range of age, there's bound to be silver lurking around there somewhere. Keep at it! ;D
