NGE, on this camera(Canon) I don't think you can turn the shutter off :dontknow:

. On her old camera(Panasonic), you could do that. She just went through the menu and looked for an option to turn it off and couldn't find one. I need to ask RGINN and see if he knows, because he has a camera like hers.

If ya can't turn the sound off, then just make a cassette recording of "shutter clicks" then place it in her blind, and put it on "loop" play and let the tape play when she's not there.....NGE

That's a good idea :icon_thumright:

. She needs to do something to de-sensitize these things. The first year we fed the deer, they were so hungry that we could stand at the yard fence and they would still come in to feed. But you know I think that was because it had been really dry and there wasn't a lot of forage and they just got used to us out of necessity because they were so hungry.

You're welcome. And you can also get 'em used to the sounds of your daughter's gun racking a shell in, in the same way........ They don't taste like chicken~Do they? :laughing9:

If I were a deer hunter, I could go out to a lot of residential/rural areas. And just hold my hand out with some grub in it and wait, when the deer come to eat out of my hand, I will have .50 mag in my other (have to be prepared, in case some dummy has been hand feeding bears) :laughing9:

Is that muley in yer freezer yet? Does he or it, Taste like chicken?...........NGE

Took a pic of this guy in a neighborhood park while kids played frisbee 40 feet away. He was eating out of an apple tree.

Nope, NGE, they don't taste like chicken :laughing9:

, but are a little "gamey" if you don't cook the meat right. To us the doe meat is better than the buck--bucks always have a stronger taste especially during the rut.
